About LIA
History & Mission
London International Awards is the first global awards show that honors and celebrates creativity conceived, written and produced solely in the Chinese language. Entries are only accepted in Chinese.
Since its inception in 2017, annually the jury comprises the top Chinese speaking creatives from around the world. The work is judged in its original format as it was released in the marketplace.
Winners will be awarded the Red Statue (with Gold, Silver or Bronze bases) specially designed for the Chinese language market.
LIA Chinese Agency Of The Year and Chinese Independent Of The Year are decided based on a point system of the winning work, these points are calculated from the winners (Gold, Silver and Bronze) of the LIA Chinese Creativity Show.
Juries
We are very selective as to who our Jury Presidents and Jurors are. They must be the best of the best, Chinese speaking, highly recognized, award-winning individuals from within their respective fields.
Every juror is required to see every piece of work in their respective categories and must participate in all rounds of judging.
How we judge
Jury members participate in awards discussions from the start of judging. Each member of each jury panel, including the jury president, judges all entries in their respective competition section (they cannot judge their own work), and no prejudice against different countries, companies or individuals is allowed. Each jury panel will select the gold, silver and bronze award winners for that year's competition.
